It’s easy to give the film to a family member or friend for feedback. They will say exactly want you want to hear. “I love it, you did good.” But really, what else would they say? So you can understand my delight when I received a good review from a film critic who in his own words, “it’s not something I thought I’d enjoy…” Read review below or better yet go to the link and rate the review.

Film Reviews: Career Courier (2010) – By Brian Morton

If you’ve ever been to a major city, then you’ve seen bike couriers. These guys who, against all odds, seem to beat traffic and race around cars, taxis and buses with giant packs on their backs, delivering packages from one company to another. It’s not really something you think too much about, but Kenton Hoppas did, well, he actually was a bike courier and his insights to this extreme niche group is amazing!

This doc follows a few different couriers in different cities, the hows and whys they got into this business to begin with and the mindset someone has to just ride a bike delivering packages all day. It’s a kind of Peter Pan-like, ‘I never want to grow up’ existence that’s fascinating to watch. Frankly, it’ll make you slightly envious; this group of people who are enjoying life and doing what they love…makes you really want to pursue your dreams! Will you want to be a bike courier, probably for a minute, but you’ll definitely stop the next time you see one and wonder what’s going on in their life…and maybe even want to buy them a cup of coffee (not that they need it!).

I’m giving Career Courier 4 out of 4 cigars, it’s not something that I thought I’d enjoy, but found myself loving every minute of it! Put on your bike shorts and find out more by heading over to
